CTI supports Associations World Congress
CTI supports Associations World Congress

For the first time, CTI has become a sponsor and supporter of the AWC. This year it was held in Gothenburg, Sweden in early April. Both founders of CTI, Richard Rettenbacher and Mark Coe attended the meeting, along with CTI Sales Consultant Keith Foley; as well as our registration partner Martin Klöfver from Trippus.

In addition to being an exhibitor, CTI supported AWC by offering their digital speaker management services, which helped AWC and their authors with the uploading and editing of presentations before and during the meeting.

The organizers were a little anxious about the choice of Gothenburg (geographically, not the facilities!) as a location, but it worked wonderfully well and there were more than 250 association participants. As in previous years, the congress is set up for intimate networking and everyone is accommodated in the same hotel and congress facilities. There were multiple tracks that met the education needs of the delegates, many of which were in workshop style, which allowed participants to share their own experiences with others. Richard Rettenbacher chaired an Expert Briefing on “The Death of Email—Rethinking Email as your Meeting’s Key Communication Tool,” where there was interest in the alternative methods of communication that Rettenbacher examined.
