Mark has worked in the meeting industry for more than 30 years and pioneered the online abstract management business.

Besides being a passionate entrepreneur with a special interest in technology Mark enjoys sailing in challenging waters. 

Richard Rettenbacher Coo

Richard Rettenbacher, COO

Richard grew up in Tanzania and Mexico. His early exposure to different cultures has influenced Richard's character and interest in travelling.

Today Richard travels the world for CTI customers always seeking new trends in the meeting industry. In his free time he enjoys exploring new kite surfing spots.

Our company history

For more than 30 years, CTI Meeting Technology has provided scalable solutions for medical, scientific, and engineering associations as they evolve their services and offerings. Our digital solutions work because we know why they are necessary and how they support your mission.

The CTI Meeting Technology of today is the result of the 2014 merger of two long-time meetings industry service providers: Coe-Truman Technologies (est. 1982) and WEBGES Gmbh (est. 2001). The executives and staff of the new CTI bring to the table more than 347 collective years of experience in the global meetings industry.

1982 

Coe-Truman Technologies (CTT) is founded in Chicago

1992 

CTT launches OASIS, the industry's first online abstract management solution

2001

WEBGES is founded in Vienna, Austria and launches the industry's first ePoster platform

2004

WEBGES launches an online abstract management system, cPAPER

2009

WEBGES extends its activities to the US market
CTT enables content delivery through OASIS using eBooks and mobile devices

2012

CTT acquires C4A, a competitive abstract management solution which was part of LDI/Marathon Multimedia

2014

CTT and WEBGES merges to form CTI Meeting Technology

2015 

CTI launches its global brand showcasing a new approach to digital content management

2016

CTI activates support for CME and Maintenance of Certification through its cOASIS and cSLIDE solutions
